Presentation Day
Presentation Day is held each year in term 4 to acknowledge the efforts of students from kindergarten to year 6. All students in years 1-6 are eligible to recieve the following awards:
- English
- Mathematics
- Commitment to Learning
- Citizenship
- Academic Achievement across all Key Learning Areas
- Encouragement
These awards are given by their class teachers.
The major year 6 awards are nominated by staff and awarded at this presentation as well. They include:
- Boronia Park Public School Encouragement Award
- Bresic Whitney Technology Award
- Dr Susanne Murphy Award for Science
- Hunters Hill Historical Society Award for History
- Hunters Hill High School Award for Excellence in Studies
- Anthony Roberts MP Goodwill Award
- Healthy Harold Recognition Award for demonstrating the values of friendship, sportsmanship and healthy living
- City of Ryde Excellence Award
Year 6 P&C Association Awards for outstanding academic excellence in:
- Creative Arts
- Mathematics
- English
- Writers Award
Sports awards include:
- Premiers Sporting Award
- Sports Girl of the Year
- Sports Boy of the Year
School Dux:
Prefects and School Captains
Prefects and School Captains for the following year are announced and badges for new prefects are given out by our departing year 6 prefects.
Kindergarten Graduation
All Kindergarten students recieve a Graduation Certificate to celebrate a successful first year of school.
