Welcome to the Boronia Park Public School website. Whether we call it our mission, philosophy or goal we believe our role is to develop the whole child - academically, socially and emotionally. I believe that students who are happy at school learn. We provide effective learning programs to teach students the necessary literacy and numeracy skills required for their strong academic growth.
The other key learning areas including science and technology are also taught rigorously. Our sport, physical education, personal development, creative and performing arts activities all enrich our student's learning and develop their life long interests and talents. Through parent community support we offer a wonderful band program, strings ensemble, recorder program, boys dance crew, girls dance troupe, junior and senior choir, chess club and enrichment programs. Our students participate in primary schools sports association (PSSA) sport as well as developing their essential sporting skills. We are a very busy and dynamic school!
Our student wellbeing policy is based on four values that are referred to in our school song. The students become very aware of the importance of friendship, harmony, cooperation and respect over their years at Boronia Park PS. We have a strong Student Representative Council (SRC), buddy program and peer support program. Our students look after each other. I hope that our values and their positive experiences form the building blocks for successful future lives.
