Boronia Park Public School provides students with a caring, stimulating and respectful environment in which they can grow and learn academically, socially and emotionally. There is a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy programs as well as creative arts, personal development and sport.
The teachers are dedicated and work hard to provide students with effective teaching and learning programs. - In 2020 there are 21 classes from Kindergarten to year 6. There are 20 single grade classes and 1 composite classes.
- Our school rules are based on the values of friendship, harmony, cooperation and respect. Students understand the importance of these values in order to ensure our school provides a happy and safe environment for everyone.
- Students wear a very practical school uniform where they can run and play. The school colours are dark blue and gold. Students are encouraged to wear their school hat when they are outside the classroom. Uniforms are available for purchase from the uniform shop situated in the school hall.
The school day begins at 9:20am and finishes at 3:20pm. Recess is from 11:00am–11:25am while lunch is from 1:00pm–1:50pm.

- Teachers focus on providing their students with quality literacy and numeracy programs.
- Teachers work diligently to help students achieve the appropriate grade outcomes in all Key Learning Areas (KLAs) i.e. English, mathematics, human society and its environment (HSIE), creative arts, personal development, health. physical education (PDHPE), science and technology.
- Students participate in rich creative arts programs and experiences. Our school has successful junior and senior band, strings ensemble and choir programs which are managed by dedicated parents.
- Nearly every student completes the Premier's Reading Challenge each year.
- Many students participate in the Ryde Eisteddfod for public speaking.
- An interesting choice of sporting options are available to years 3-6 students every Friday.
- Boronia Park PS is involved in the Ryde Primary schools sports associations (PSSA) in both the summer and winter competitions.
- Throughout the year different sporting programs will be implemented from Kindergarten to Year 6.
Formal parent/teacher interviews are held at the end of Term 1. Parents are welcome to organise an appointment to speak to their child's teacher at any time during the school year. Student reports to parents are distributed at the end of each semester.
We have a committed and active parents and citizens (P&C) and school council. Parents are involved in a range of committees and activities at school and in classrooms. On monday and thursday morning K-6 assemblies are held on the school playground when the bell rings. Parents enjoy staying to listen to the announcements.
